Kathleen Wade

Kathleen Swink Wade, 78, of Hillsboro passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Peoria Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to service time at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Kathleen was born December 28, 1938 in Hill County to Earl and Edna Lorene (Twilliger) Swink. She lived in Hill County all of her life. In November 1957, Kathleen was united in marriage to Bobby Wade in Cleburne. For 30 years, she was a directory assistant with Southwestern Bell Telephone/AT&T. She was a member of Peoria Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Presley Swink.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Bobby Wade of Hillsboro; son, Ronnie Wade and wife, Michelle, of Hillsboro; brother, Paul Allen Page and wife, Pam, of Peoria; three sisters, Carolyn Sue Jean of Granbury, Paula Elaine Ballard and husband, Dennis, of Hillsboro, and Paulette Bledsoe and husband, Larry, of Peoria; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
