Katie Ann Sandstrom

Katie Ann (Cordell) Sandstrom, age 70, was called home to meet her Lord on July 25, 2021.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Danny Gilliam officiating.

Katie was born on September 26, 1950, to James and Margaret (Gregston) Cordell.  She was married for only a brief time and shortly divorced earlier in her life.  She lived and worked in many different places throughout her lifetime including Tulas, OK, Albuquerque, NM, Hillsboro, Garland, Rockwall, Princeton and McKinney, TX.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and two sisters.

She is survived by two sisters, Cindy Jones and husband, Ken, Judy Mulholland and husband, Harold; brother, Fred Cordell and wife, Kimla; four nephews, two nieces, eleven grand- nieces and nephews, and three great-grand- nieces and nephews.
