Kay Roberts

Kay Roberts, 55 of Whitney passed away on March 19, 2010 in Temple. Kay was born on August 22, 1954 in Dallas, Texas and was the daughter of Joseph and Peggy Pool Hurley. She grew up in Laguna Park and graduated from Meridian High School. She received an Associates degree as a R.N. in nursing from McLennan Community College. Kay worked as Director of Nurses for several nursing homes in Central Texas. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney. Kay was an animal lover, especially horses. Preceding her in death were her father and brother, Joseph Sanford Hurley. She was loved by her family and will be deeply missed by all. Survivors include her mother, Peggy Hurley of Laguna Park; children, Chantelle Vines and Bruce Roberts of Whitney; granddaughter, Mikayla Adams and grandson, Micah Adams.
