Ken Griffin, 65, of Whitney, passed away on April 2, 2015 at Providence Hospice in Waco. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Whitney, with Rev. Michael Waco, officiating.

Ken was born in Parker County, Texas on September 21, 1949 to Robert Lowell and Martha Katherine (O’Bryant) Griffin. He was the youngest of 6 children-2 girls and 4 boys. On December 26, 1991, he married Mary Gibson. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1972-1974. He was a member of the Cen-Tex Corvette Club. A 24 year resident of Whitney, he owned 933 Paint and Body Shop. Ken was a friend to everyone. He tried his best through joke or "prank" to make you smile.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Martha Darlene Crenshaw and a brother, Ronald
Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Gibson Griffin of Whitney; children, Chris Griffin of Magnolia and Holly Griffin Crabtree and husband, Michael, also of Magnolia; grandson, Nicholas Crabtree; brothers, Dwain Griffin and wife Bonnie of Duncanville and Bob Griffin of Plano; and sister Jerry Nunn and husband, John of Stephenville.
