Kenneth Brooks

Kenneth M. Brooks, 80, of Hillsboro passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro with Mr. Gene Edens officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday prior to service time at the cemetery. Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro are in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth was born June 24, 1933 in Hill County to Homer John and Bessie Edith (Williams) Brooks. He always helped his mother doing whatever she asked of him. An avid animal lover, especially dogs and cats, Kenneth was always tending and taking care of all his animals. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant sister, Jeanell.

Survivors include two sisters, Jeannette Davidson of Hewitt and Linda Reid and husband, Kenneth, of Hillsboro; three nieces; four nephews; five great-nieces; seven great-nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
