Kenneth Roy Hill of Del Rio, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022.
Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Ken was born on February 13, 1943, in Bay City, Texas to Maynard and Emma Hill. He grew up in Del Rio, Texas. After graduating from Del Rio High School, Ken attended Texas A & M University at College Station, Texas where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting degree. He moved to Austin, Texas and was a CPA with the firm Peat Marwick and Mitchell. Several years later, Ken was a Senior Vice President with Austin Savings and Loan. He was a member of the Sertoma Club holding the position of Treasurer and then President.
The Hill family moved to Coral Springs, Florida in 1977. Ken was an investment banker with Ewton, Seneca and Mead in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. After receiving his license as a general contractor, he developed and became President of KRH Development Company in Ft. Lauderdale.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents Maynard and Emma Hill and his brother Maynard Earl Hill. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Hill; son, Craig Hill of Louisville, Georgia; and daughter Kendra Cusick, and husband, Patrick of Southlake, Texas; grandchildren, Karly Hill, Kevin Cusick, Katie Cusick, Kylee Cusick and Ashley Cusick; sister, Billie Ruth Coleman of Del Rio, Texas; and numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria, Texas.
