Kenneth Gene Kelley, age 58, passed away on January 28, 2024 at his home in Whitney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors chapel in Whitney, Texas.

Kenneth Gene Kelley was born on October 24,1965 Fairbanks, Alaska to his parents, Bobby Raye Kelley and Connie Sue (Yell) Nicholson. He was raised and graduated high school in Devine, Texas. Kenneth always worked in construction and moved up to Blade Operator, he moved around all over Texas. Kenneth loved the beach and deep sea fishing with his family, he went several times a year. Kenneth married the love of his life, Carrie Denise (Hart) Kelley in 2009. They moved to Whitney, Texas and Kenneth started fishing in Lake Whitney. He loved barbequing outside, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Bobby Raye Kelley; brother, Monty Kelley; aunt, Gayle Causey; and niece, Madi Macyl.

He is survived by the love of his life, Carrie Denise (Hart) Kelley of Whitney, Texas; daughter, Heather Louise Kelley of Devine, Texas; brothers, Buddy Lee Kelley of Devine, Texas and Johnny O. Kelley of Martindale, Texas; sister, Kimbra Heihsohn of Devine, Texas; step-children, John W. Willis and Lindsey Ann; and grandchildren, Lily Rey, Coy, Jackson, and Jaselyn.
