Kenneth Kucera, 45, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 1301 Hogan Lane in Bellmead. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 15, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Kenneth was born June 12, 1966 in Hillsboro the son of Edwin and Marjorie (Lentz) Kucera. He was raised in Malone and graduated from Hubbard High School. On June 1, 1991 he married Anissa Mabry and they resided in Hillsboro. For 18 years, he worked for Mrs. Baird’s Bread and had worked as an independent route owner for the last 10 years.
Kenneth was first and foremost a Daddy to his two daughters, Aynslee and Kenslee. They were his crown jewels. He loved watching any sports they participated in from softball to cheer. He had coached his girls but just enjoyed watching them this last year. He taught them that their faith came first and morals and values really did make you who you are as a person.
His hobbies included anything his babies did, fishing, farming, reading his devotional, being outside, watching classic movies, and listening to music. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anissa Kucera; two daughters; Aynslee and Kenslee Kucera; parents; Edwin and Marjorie Kucera; in-laws, Roy and Carol Mabry; five sisters, Pauline Wines and husband, Kirk, Joyce Crumpton and husband, Ralph, Teresa Beard and husband, Gary, Nancy Kruger and husband, Eddie, and Karen Picha and husband, Greg; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many dear friends.
