Kenneth Lindsey

Kenneth Pop Lindsey, 83, of Arlington passed away on April 30, 2008 in Arlington. He was the son of Morgan and Annie May Kelley Lindsey and grew up in Lamesa. He married Velma Garringer on Oct. 9, 1943. During World War II, he served in the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter and loved to play golf and going to horse races. He lived in Whitney for 18 years and was a member of the Whitney Country Club before moving to Arlington in 2001. Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter, Gloria Lindsey Smith, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Velma of Arlington; children, Kenny Ray Lindsey and wife, Linda of Grand Prairie, Sandra Lee Lindsey of Hohenwald, TN., 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
