Kenneth was born, November 7, 1950, in Whitney, Texas to Taylor Woodraw and Lois (Foushee) Peacock. He spent his childhood helping on the family farm, graduated from Hillsboro High School and played football all through his high school years. Kenneth's first job was working for his brother. Melvin at the filling station in Hillsboro. He was united in marriage to his wife, Merry Boyd on July 28, 1969, and they celebrated 51 years of marriage.

At the age of 19, he started working for the Katy railroad and retired with Union Pacific, with 42 years of service. Even after retirement, he kept a close connection with many former coworkers who turned into family. One year, he and his wife, Merry drove to Idaho to visit her dad Jack and along the way they did a lot of sightseeing and enjoyed the views. One of Kenneth’s hobbies was gardening and cheering his grandkids on during all their sporting events, it didn't matter how far he had to go, he never missed a game. He also taught all four grandchildren how to drive. Kenneth loved to fish and later in life, he found his newest hobby, gambling at the casino with family. Also, he loved yard work and planting flowers, and even won Hillsboro yard of the month. His daughters were lucky enough to have a father that enjoyed and loved spending as much time as possible with the grandkids. Kenneth will be loved and missed by many.
