Ken “Mohawk” Redden, 56, of Penelope passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at his residence. The family will host a memorial service and BBQ dinner starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Birome Community Center in Birome.
Ken was born February 11, 1960 in Waco to Grady Loyd and Shirley Ann (Young) Redden. He grew up in Waco and graduated from University High School. For many years, he owned his own construction company. Ken loved being outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and was an avid gun collector. An active supporter in youth sports programs, he enjoyed coaching basketball and football in the local programs.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his spouse, Amy Redden; children, Kylia Redden, Kennon Redden, and Kolton Redden, all of Penelope, and Kourtney Barrera of Waco; brother, Gary Redden of Waco; sister, Donna Norris of Waco; five grandchildren; and two nieces.
