It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim T. Sharp, age 71, of Clifton, Texas. Kim peacefully departed this life on October 26, 2024, at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas. Born on June 1, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents, Kenneth and Genella Sharp of Crowley, Texas.
Throughout his life, Kim cherished the outdoors and developed a passion for fishing and hunting, influenced by his father from a young age. Following his graduation from Crowley High School, Kim spent years honing his skills as a butcher at Haley's Meat Market before continuing his career at Sam's Club and later Walmart, where he eventually retired.
Kim was a dedicated family man. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Arlettia Sharp; beloved daughter, Kristal Pegram and husband Brian; step-son, Wes McDaniel; step-daughter, Magyn Whitaker and husband, Nathan; and bonus son, Brian Burns and wife Nioka. He leaves behind his sister, Lissa Watson and husband Glenn; adoring grandchildren, Bailey and Charlotte Pegram, Coby, Lauryn and Kyle Whitaker, and Genevieve Burns; and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Genella Sharp, and brother Mike Sharp. Kim's memory will forever be treasured by his family and friends.
In remembrance of Kim's life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, to be announced, to honor his legacy and the impact he had on those around him. His life will be remembered and his spirit cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
