Krista Findley

Krista Findley, 54, of Whitney passed away on March 6, 2008. Krista was born on September 16, 1953 in Matador, TX to James and Earle Brooks Price. She grew up in Matador and graduated from Monterrey High School in Lubbock. She received a Bachelors Degree from UT at Permian Basin and also received a Masters Degree in History from there. She received a Masters Degree in Education from Region XII in Waco. She married Wayne Findley on November 15, 1974. She raised her family in Andrews before moving to Whitney five years ago. She taught school for fifteen years and was an Assistant Principal for the last two years. Krista was a member of the White Bluff Chapel in Whitney and DAR. Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Whitney; parents, James and Earle Price of Lubbock; children, Wade Findley and wife, Courtney of Fort Worth, Mitch Findley and wife, Simone of Katy; brothers, Morris Price and Andrea of Lubbock, Paul Price and wife Jana of Denver, CO., Scotty Price and wife Liz of Austin.
