Kristen Leanne Creech

Kristen LeAnne Creech of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.  She was born May 21, 1975, in Cordele, Georgia to James Phillip Fielder and Sherry Diann Hammer.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro, Texas.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas.

After graduating from China Spring High School in 1993, Kristen worked as a 911-emergency dispatcher in Williamson County Sherriff’s Office, owned a web-based business named The Lucky Heifer, and worked for REVEAL marketing online candles and jewelry as an internet-based sales consultant.  She loved her family and children and enjoyed helping others.  A dynamic individual, Kristen touched numerous lives through her business and contact with others.  She was known for her caring spirit and concern for anyone in need.  A friend related that she was the missing puzzle piece in her friends’ and family’s lives and the person who completed others with her warmth and gift for helping.

Kristen was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, and an uncle, Eddie Sullivan.  She is survived by her husband, Jon Derek Creech; her parents, Jimmy and Diann Hammer; children, Laura Lynn Kucera, Kevin Gilliam, Jr., and Lacey Danielle Gilliam; brothers, James D. Karnes, Jr. and wife Carol, Jeffrey Hammer and wife Katie, and Staff Sergeant Jeremy Hammer and his son Jeremy, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
