L. A. Perry, Jr


He was the son of L.A. and Eunice Hudson Perry Sr. L.A. served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1960 to 1969. He served in three tours of duty during Vietnam with the 33rd Ranger Battalion special forces as a Vietnamese interpreter. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on his farm and ranch and was an avid gun and knife collector. He was a truck driver. L.A. was of the Baptist faith and a lifetime member of the VFW in Llano. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Louise Dodson. Survivors include his sons, Terry G. Perry and wife, Deborah, of Llano, TX, Dean P. Perry of Orlando, Fl.; sisters, Shirley Browning and husband, Sterling, of Iowa Park, TX, Linda Bray-Warner and husband, John, of Waco, TX, and Sandra Roberts and husband, Darrryl, of Tyler, TX; granddaughter, Cassidy Lynn Perry of Conn.; and grandson, Kyle Dean Perry of Conn.
