Ladonna Fern (White) Weaver

LaDonna Fern Weaver, age 81, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, in Waco. Funeral Services have been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney with Rev. Gerald Dudley officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro. She will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Facial masks and social distancing are required.

LaDonna was born on July 18, 1939, in Canton, Oklahoma, to George Oliver and Leona (Weber) White. She was raised in Vanita, Oklahoma, and graduated from high school there. LaDonna worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until 1978. She enjoyed making pine needle baskets, sewing, and knitting. LaDonna was united in marriage to Waymond Weaver on April 19, 1978, in Arlington, Texas.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter, Lesley Fern Weaver.

LaDonna is survived by her husband, Waymond Weaver; her children, LeAnn Ruth Green and husband Chuck from Runaway Bay, TX, Russell Wayne Weaver and wife Pandora from Paris, TX, Charles Dewayne Weaver and wife Paige from Conroe, TX; brother, Vernon White from Owassa, OK, and Stanley White from Claramore, OK; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
