Larry Hibbitts

Larry Neal Hibbitts, 75, of Morgan passed away Friday, November 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Whitney Church of Christ with Mr. Bruce Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Larry was born on March 31, 1940 in Throckmorton to Comelle and Vina (Lamberth) Hibbitts. He married Patsy Ann Baize on December 9, 1960 in Arlington while still in college. Larry worked for 30 years as a mechanical engineer, designing printing presses and other parts used in manufacturing. His favorite job was retirement and being PaPa to his loving grandchildren with whom he took great pleasure spending time with on the lake dragging them behind his boat. Larry had a great passion for his family, his Savior and his church. He was a member of the Whitney Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his grandson, Brad Hibbitts.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hibbitts; children, Brent Hibbitts and wife, Karen, Ginger Tompson and husband, Jay, and Christy Hibbitts; brothers Max Hibbitts and wife, Betty, Terry Hibbitts and wife, Diana, and Kent Hibbitts and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Scott Hibbitts and wife, Hilary, Colten Winburn, Cristy Jones and husband, Bryan, Timothy Childers and wife, Tresa, Cody Childers, Kolby Neal Hibbitts, Taylor Winburn, Jarred Childers, Sierra Childers, and Marandy Huebner and husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Kris, Keaton, Kelsie, Clayton, Kayleigh, Addison, Bryson, and Peyton; and many other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fosters Home for Children, 1779 N. Graham St., Stephenville, TX 76401.
