Larry Morrow

Larry Edwin Morrow, of Laguna Park was taken home by the Lord at the age of 67 on September 6, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Drew Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery near Laguna Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 9 at the funeral home.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Ware Morrow and Mary Eunice (Huffhines) Morrow. He was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church and was known by his family and friends as a man of faith and charity. Skilled in many trades, he was always available to offer assistance to anyone who asked or had need. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, golf, helping his neighbors, and most importantly, his family.

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Gayle Massey Morrow; two children, Eric Morrow and wife, Carrie of Brownwood, and Lisa Scott and husband, Randy of Laguna Park; and eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin, and Kyle Eickholt, Vincent and Alexander Morrow, Luke and Ryan Scott, and Grayson Morrow.

The family requests that memorials be designated for the Youth Fund of Prairie Valley Baptist Church, PO Box 1668, Whitney, Texas 76692.
