Larry Saylor, 58, of Whitney passed away on October 10, 2009 in Whitney. Larry was born on September 14, 1951 in Springfield, OH to Lloyd and Marjorie Looney Saylor. He grew up in Ohio and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1969. He worked for Penn Central Railroad and Conrail for ten years before moving to Whitney in 1978. Larry married Deborah White on June 19, 1982. He worked at the Glen Rose Nuclear Plant from 1978 to 1980 and then opened his own Roofing Business that he ran until 2005. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator. He was a member of the American Legion Post 522. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Chasity Danneylle Saylor. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Saylor of Whitney; children: RaDonna Dyer and husband, Johnny, of Pikeville, TN; Larry David Saylor II and wife, Jennifer, of Deltona, FL; Patrick David Saylor and wife, Felicia, of Whitney, TX; brothers: Stephen Saylor and wife, Zona, of Florence, KY and Jeffery Saylor and wife, Brenda, of Xenia, OH; sisters: Beverly Saylor of Centerville, OH and Nancy Masters and husband, Kirt, of New Carlisle, OH; grand children: Ahleasha Dyer, John Dyer, Austin Saylor, Ethan Saylor and Megan Saylor.
