Larry Dwayne Swank, Sr.

Larry Dwayne Swank Sr was called home on March 5, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time.

He was from Findlay, Ohio. Larry was born on Friday, December 25, 1942. He was the son of Don and Ann Swank. Larry married Ardella Roddy and they shared 49 wonderful years together. He moved to Houston, Texas and raised his family there. He was a very loving and hardworking brother, husband, father, grandfather.

After retiring from Overnight Transportation he loved spending time with his family and others. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working in the yard growing roses and building birdhouses. Everyone who knew Larry would say that he had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Elizabeth (Ann) Swank; his siblings Connie, Linda and Mildred. Wife, Ardella Swank, and Children, Howard and Modena.

Survivors include his son; Larry Swank Jr, his grandchildren; Carissa Mcfarland, Matthew Sanderford, Shelby Swank, and Elizabeth Sanderford, and three great-grandchildren; Caylee and Cailin, and Maddox; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
