Laurecia Patalon

Laurecia Ann Patalon, 44 of Whitney passed away on December 15, 2009 in Waco. Laurecia was born on August 24, 1965 in Clifton, the daughter of Herbert and Tommie Worley Hill. On August 4, 1989, she married Victor Patalon in Joshua. Laurecia was a school teacher and was very active and involved in children's ministry. She also enjoyed and loved music and was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Whitney. She was preceded in death by her son, Vic Patalon, II. Survivors include her husband, Victor; parents, Herbert and Tommie Hill; children, Hannah and Nathan Patalon all of Whitney; brothers, Chris Hill and wife, Tresa of Hillsboro, David Hill and wife, Kristi of West; sisters, Synthia Slaughter and husband, Alvin of Lampasas, Tammie Daniels and husband, Brad of Whitney, Tina Carrell and husband, Chris of Saginaw; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
