Lavetra Earl (Green) Fogleman

On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, LaVetra Earl (Green) Fogleman, was called to heaven at the age of 97.

LaVertawas was born in Star City, Arkansas on July 25, 1925, the daughter of  Robert W. Green and U Nettie (Glover) Green.  She was the youngest of 6 children. LaVetra moved to Whitney, TX in the early 90’s with her late husband, Chock W. Yee.  She was passionate about gardening and witnessing her Lord.  When LaVetra was no longer able to work in her yard and garden, she enjoyed playing cards with her group of friends and reading fiction.

LaVetra is survived by 4 children: Michael Yee, Pam Ferrell, Mary Wolf (Dan), and David Yee (Berlinda), 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous. nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hardy Green, Ulmer Green, Lloyd Green; and sisters, Velma Donahue, and Carma Cater; son, Jimmy Yee; and husband, Elwood Fogleman.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.
