Lawrence Pennington, (Butch) 74, of Whitney and Minnesota passed away on November 5, 2011 at the hospital in Whitney.
Memorial services will held on December 18, 2011 from 2:00 - 5:00 at the American Legion in St. Paul Park, Minnesota.
Butch was born on February 12, 1937 in St. Paul, MN. to the late Roger and Margaret (Peltier) Pennington. He married Phyllis Kunrath on October 12, 1957 in South St Paul. He served in the Marines for three years. After retiring from working as a truck driver with a freight line company, he and his wife started living in Texas during the winter months and returning to Minnesota during the summer months.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis; children, Richard Steven, Roger John, Michael and Lynne; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
