Lellene (Steele) Satterwhite

Lellene Steele Satterwhite, 83, of Garland Texas, previously of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday, December 18th, 2020.

Lellene was born on May 15th, 1937 to Jay L. and Florence (Reed) Steele. She attended Abbott schools and graduated from Abbott High School in 1955. Her career included working for what was LTV in Waco, a professional school secretary in Midlothian, and the job she loved the most-being a Mom and Grandmother. Lellene also had her own cleaning business for many years and served the people of Hillsboro, Whitney, and West. Our Mother was loving, kind, funny, and caring….she never met a stranger. She is now with the Lord, and we are thankful for her life and the legacy she has left behind.

She leaves to cherish her memory  a daughter, Darla Herring and husband Skipper of Broken Arrow, OK., and a son, Daryl Adair of Lubbock, TX.; grandchildren Savannah Davidson, Colton Davidson, Connor Davidson, Shelby Adair, Kaitlyn Adair, Daryl Ray Adair, Reilly Adair, and Darylin Adair, several close cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Lellene is preceded in death by her infant sister, Sarah Jo Steele; her parents and her sister, Sandra Steele.

A private family graveside service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday January 16th, 2020. Burial will be in Vaughan Cemetery in Hill County.
