Lenda Lee

Lenda Clara Lee, 67, of Whitney passed away at her residence on Novembe 2, 2004. She was the daughter of John and Mabel Morgan Moody, Sr. She married Jack D. Lee, Sr. on May 21, 1957. They moved to Whitney in 1975 and owned three restaurants before retiring in 1986. Lenda was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack on August 6, 1988; infant son, John William Lee and sister, Kathy Ball. Survivors include his children; Janeen Cox and husband, Ray of Jefferson, Rick Lee and wife, Bonnie of Whitney, Jack Lee Jr. and wife, Sissy of Whitney; brother, John Moody, Jr. and wife, Maria of Hobbs, New Mexico; sister, Lisa Obst of Ruidoso, New Mexico; grandchildren, Christy Youngblood, Tracy Holleyfield, Jack Lee, III, Sandra Haygood, Jamie Motherspau, Amber Lee, Jeremy Lee, Melissa Lee, Laramie Cox, Michael Cox, and Christy Cox; great grandchildren, James Russell Ingle, Dakota Quiroz, Damien Holleyfield, Lexy Holleyfield, Bailey Haygood, Hunter Haygood, Christian Motherspau, Destiny Cox, Trinity Cox and Chasity Cox.
