Leona Hurt

Leona "Aunt Loanie" Hurt, loving mother and wife, went to see her Eternal Maker on February 14,2025.

She was born on February 7, 1956, to Franklin and Lily Hamilton in Montpelier, Ohio.

Leona married James Hurt on October 17, 1974, and they enjoyed fifty years of marriage. In September of 1976 she welcomed her one and only bundle of joy, Jason Lee. Leona was thrilled when Monique, Rebecca, Jorge, and Miguel entered her life as her grandchildren then along came Charles. She was so excited to have two great grandchildren Jaxson and Noah

Leona is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved sisters Reba, Grace, Wyomma and Hazel; and brothers Simon, Hal, Howard and August. She is survived by her Husband James(Jimmy) of Clifton, Texas; son Jason and Wife Crystal of Clifton Texas; multiple grandchildren and too many to mention nieces and nephews.
