Lila Belle Bratcher, 88, of Whitney passed away Monday, May 1, 2019 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro. A visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, she will lie in state on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 9 AM to 5 PM for viewing at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors.
Lila was born May 4, 1930 in Hill County and was the daughter of Marvin Turner and Ida Gus Stella (Ferrell) Frank. She married Henry Allen Bratcher in 1974. Puzzles and crocheting were two things that she loved to do. Lila was always so happy and welcoming, making everybody feel at home.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Henry Allen “Bratch” Bratcher; sisters, Ila Mae Daniel and Elouise Thomas; brothers, Cecil Frank, Gilbert Frank, and Milton Frank; daughter, Ronda Sue McCoy.
Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Luann McCoy; sister, Carolyn Benton and husband Jim; granddaughter, Mandi Edson and husband Tommy; great granddaughter, Autumn Snider; great grandson, Ethan Edson; sister-n-law’s, Lynda Frank, Hazel Burns, Carolyn Mueck; numerous nieces and nephews, and very close and special dear friends, Brad and Tammy Daniels, Braxton, Grace, Lillie Kait and Victor Patalon.
