Lillie Radke

Lillie Huse Radke, 93, of Hillsboro, formerly Bynum, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at a Hillsboro nursing home. Lillie was the daughter of Adolph W. and Meta Neuman Huse. She was born in the Honey Flat Community and lived there all of her life until moving to Bynum in 1991. On Aug. 3, 1940, she and Lother Radke were married in the parsonage of Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. She was a long-time member of Salem Lutheran where she taught Sunday School and was a member of LWML for many years. Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Joann Radke; two brothers, Alvin and Wilton Huse; and two sisters, Marie and Hattie Sonnenberg. Survivors include her husband, Lother Radke of Hillsboro; a daughter, Patsy Williams and husband, Jimmy, of Hillsboro; one sister, Tony Zettler of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Terry Williams of Denton and Todd Williams and wife, Lori, of Bynum; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
