Lilly Bennett

Lilly Pearl Bennett, 88, of Hillsboro died Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Hill Regional Hospital. Lilly was born February 15, 1918 in the Bethel Community of Hill County, Texas the daughter of Nathan Lee and Elizabeth Burnet Biggs. She lived in the Hillsboro area all of her life. On October 17, 1936 she married Sam Bennett. For several years she worked at Brins Western Wear and then at K. Wolens Department Store a number of years until her retirement. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, and seven sisters. Survivors includer her husband, Sam Bennett of Hillsboro; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
