Linda Allison

Linda Allison, 60, of Itasca, passed away on July 29, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Hillsboro; burial will follow at Rio Vista Cemetery in Rio Vista. A visitation service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6 - 8 P.M., also at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Hillsboro.

Linda was born May 8, 1956 in Itasca to James Russell Upchurch and Frances Luesal (Collins) Upchurch. She was united in marriage to Buddy Lee Allison on July 29, 1989 in Covington. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Douglas Allison.

Survivors include her husband, Buddy Allison of Hillsboro; children, Stephen Whipkey and wife, Patricia, of Mobile, Alabama, and Melanie Stevenson and husband, Alastair of Loxley, Alabama; grandchildren, Darby and Tyler; brothers, Homer Upchurch of Itasca, Jimmy Upchurch, of Osceola; sister, Janie Perkins of Camp Wood; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Allison, of Covington; sister-in-law, Carrie Whitman and husband, Mitch, of Covington; brother-in-law, Travis Allison and wife, Laura, of Mansfield. Linda is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
