Linda Best

Linda was the daughter of Albert C. and Faye Hamilton Woodin. She lived in Hillsboro most of her life, but graduated from Milford High School. For the past twenty years she resided in Waco where she owned and operated Linda J's Coin Laundry. A loving mother, Linda was known for baking cookies. She loved music, especially Elvis, and also enjoyed dancing. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, including her sister Wanda West. Survivors include her daughter, René Sheard and husband, Chip; son, Kevin Nelson; daughter-in-law, Chauntay Nelson; brother, Jimmy Woodin and wife, Liz; three sisters - Dorothy Gilley, Pam Kier and husband, Michael, and Kathy Basil and husband, Danny. Also, 5 Grandchildren - April, Jessica, Felicia, Zachary, and Alayna; 3 Great-grandchildren - Christopher, Janessa, and Jason; many nieces and nephews, including Edward West; and special friend, Chuck Friederich.
