Lois Wynelle (Nell) Bigham, age 94, passed away at her Las Vegas home on March 24, 202, at 8:30 a.m. from complications of a recent stroke. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Lois was born to Willie and Josie Lipsey Kendrick in Frost, Texas on April 12, 1926. No woman was ever loved more than this wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Lois grew up in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1943. She spent most of her life as a devoted homemaker but worked briefly at the old T P & L office in Hillsboro. Her life was long, well lived and full of love and laughter. She made the lives of her family and friends richer by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray D Bigham; parents, Willie and Josey Lipsey Kendrick; sisters, Maedelle Sawyer, Francis Thompson; brothers, Maurice Kendrick, Billy Joe Kendrick; nieces, Teddy Denton and Theresa Basye.
She is survived by daughters, Paula Stevens of Las Vegas, Nevada and Denise Conkle and husband, Kent of Grapevine, Texas; grandchildren, James Fuller and wife, Robin of Las Vegas, Trevor Conkle and wife, Rebecca of Grapevine, and McKenzye Conkle of Grapevine; great grandchildren, Benyamin and Jedidiya Fuller and Grace Padilla, of Las Vegas, Keeley Wynelle and Bodhi of Grapevine, Texas.
