Lois Ponder

Lois Ponder, 84, of Kerens died Monday, December 5, 2005, at East Texas Medical Center. Lois was born March 1, 1921 in Easterly, Texas the daughter of Hallie and Hettie Kilgore Goodwin. She lived most of her life in Houston. For ten years she lived in Corrigan and lived in Kerens the past fifteen years. She was a housewife. Preceding her in death were her parents and two sons, Leymone Monroe Ponder on Dec. 11, 2003 and James Lewis Ponder in 1994. survivors include four children, Mike Ponder of Votaw, Shirley Ponder of Kerens, Ima Jean Colvin of Houston, and Gwendolynn Roberts of Houston; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
