Loretta Allen

Loretta Allen 84, of Whitney passed away on June 12, 2015 to be with the Lord. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday June 15, 2015 at Hillcrest Garden of Memory. Officiating will be Dr. Allan Lane of Ft. Graham Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the cemetery. Interment will follow.

Loretta was born on April 5, 1931 in Aspermont, Texas to the late James Pruett Rash and Mervine Brannen Rash. Loretta married T .C. Allen on January 14, 1964 in Las Vegas Nevada he preceded her in death on September 22, 1999.

She was a loving person and willing to help anyone that was in need. She always had a smile on her face and loved being around people and playing bingo. Loretta was a past Noble Grand of Rebecca Lodge # 213 and a member of Ft. Graham Baptist Church.

Also preceding her in death were two grandsons, Ronald Lynn in 1974 and Tony Nix in 2010.

Survivors include daughter Kay Hagar of Big Springs; sons, Ron Nix of Odessa, Johnny Allen of Whitney, grandchildren, Loretta Jay Gilkey of Odessa Brandy Moore of Tennesee, Michelle Hagar of San Antonio and Celeste and John Allen of California. 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren.
