Lou Mccage

Lou Maurine McCage, 89, of Whitney passed away on June 29, 2008. Maurine was the daughter of Lee and Leona Eubank Prichard. She married Lawrence B. McCage in Harris County on May 26, 1944 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1975. She enjoyed working with flowers and was an avid gardner, spending time with her brother, loved fishing, enjoyed music and dancing and when she was younger she enjoyed riding horses. She was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Peggy Glover, Aug. 22, 2002 and two brothers, Robert and William Prichard. Survivors include her children, Larry McCage and wife, Cindy and Darrell McCage and wife, Carolyn both of Whitney; granddaughters, Winona Almuete and husband Stephen of Kerens, Amanda Moser and husband, Chris of Whitney; grandsons, Joe Glover of Blum, Bradley McCage and wife, Crystal of Whitney, Joshua McCage and wife, Ashley of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Brook and Lauren Almuete, Donovan, Keely and Caiden McCage, Cody Moser and Conor and Joshua McCage.
