Louise S. Barberousse age 90 of Hillsboro passed away December 20, 2009. Mrs. Barberousse was born in Ft. Worth February 1, 1919 to Alvie and Rena Summers. Her father passed away when she was seven years old and her mother took she and her sister who was two years old at the time to the I.O.O.F Home in Corsicana where the three of them lived until the girls both finished high school. Louise went to Houston and entered the University of Houston where she also worked for the Dean of Women. Louise married her husband Julius Bob in 1939 and lived in Houston. They moved to Shreveport to be near his family. They lived there until 1980 when both retired and they moved to Hillsboro. She retired after working 25 years for a Wholesale Mfg. Roofing Company where she was head of Accounts Receivable. While living in Shreveport she taught Sunday school and sang in the choirs of two of the largest churches there for many years. After moving to Hillsboro they became members of the First Baptist Church and both taught Sunday school, sang in the choirs and were a part of other activities in the church. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius in 2001. Survivors include one son, Melvin and wife, Myra of Arlington; one granddaughter, Tanya also of Arlington; one grandson, Daryl of Colorado; and one great-grandson, Rylan of Colorado.
