Louise Basham

Louise Basham, 97, of Dallas died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. Louise was born September 23, 1910 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Audrey Basham and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1974. Until her retirement in 1979, she was a credit manager at Shaws Jewelry in Dallas. She was a longtime and faithful member of Casa Linda United Methodist Church in Dallas. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Charles Walker. Survivors include her son, Rusty Basham of Emory; five grandchildren, Justine Hanus of Dallas, Julie Taylor and Kirk Basham both of Allen, and Brandon and Jamie Basham both of Emory; step-granddaughter, Cynthia Brazil; and four great-grandchildren.
