Lucille Alexander

Lucille Alexander, 88, of Whitney passed away on February 15, 2008 in Whitney. She was born on February 17, 1919 in Aquilla to D. A. and Beulah Latham Brogden. She and husband, James Felton Alexander had eight children. She spent her life raising her children and caring for others. Lucille was very devoted to serving the Lord. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; daughter, Helen Ruth Alexander; sons, James Howard, Dalton, and Weldon Alexander; and 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter. Survivors include her children, Daulton Alexander and wife, Alicia of Burleson, Carlton Alexander of Whitney; Nelda Kattner and husband, Richard of Waco and Peggy Morris of Whitney; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous friends and neighbors whom she loved very much.
