Lucille Lesley Inmon age 88 of Duncanville passed away Saturday, September 10, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, September 14, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday morning prior to the service at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Lucille was born August 31, 1923 in Hill County, Texas. She was the daughter of George and Dovie (Bledsoe) Lesley. She married W.J. Inmon on November 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Pauline Scott, Betty Lesley, and Ruby Dean Foster; and one brother, Charles Ray Lesley.
Lucille worked for Collins Radio for 15 years retiring in 1975. An avid knitter, she also enjoyed sewing, ceramics, traveling, and was a very good cook. She was an active member of the Lone Star Bulldog Club, DFW French Bulldog Club, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her seven children, Burl Hubbard of Abernathy, Karon Carter of Greenville, Richard Inmon and wife, Janine, of Midlothian, George Inmon and wife, Diane, of Terrell, Mike Inmon and wife, Gwen, of Peoria, Randall Inmon and wife, Denyce, of Duncanville, and Sharon Hackler of Duncanville; one brother, George Bradford “Bud” Lesley of Midlothian; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
