Ludie Robeson, 97, of Hillsboro passed away on Monday, April 11, 2005, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Ludie was born April 28, 1907 in Graham, Texas the daughter of William Robert and Sally Pound Bruton. She lived in Hill County most of her life. On November 5, 1924 she married Willie Tom ?Bill? Roberson and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1994. She worked as a surgical nurse at Grant-Buie Hospital for many years and as a nurse at Town Hall Estates. For over 50 years she was a member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, where she became a member in 1943. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Herchel Marcell Roberson of San Antonio on November 5, 1995; a brother, Fred Bruton on March 9, 2003; and a sister, Argen Bledsoe on January 9, 2001. Survivors include a son, Rex Roberson of Hillsboro; ad aughter-in-law, Mary Roberson of San Antonio; a brother, Robert Bruton and wife, Earline, of Hillsboro; a sister, Inez Beatty and husband, James, of Waco; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
