Lyle Streeter

Lyle Streeter, 74, of Whitney, passed away at his residence on June 25, 2014. The family will hold a memorial service at 11 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in the Sun Country Chapel.

Lyle was born on November 21, 1939, in Warren, Iowa, to Jay and Olive (Caloway) Streeter. He grew up in Iowa. On December 4, 1965, he married Sharon Stafford. He worked as a data processor for several businesses in Iowa before moving to Fort Worth in 1980 to work for Dickie’s Clothing as programmer manager. They enjoyed traveling by RV for 8 ½ years. He was a Texas Ranger and NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Streeter of Whitney; mother-in-law, Pearl Stafford of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; sister, Geraldine Barker and husband, Jack, of Indianola, Iowa, sisters-in-law, Mary Streeter of Indianola, Iowa and Connie Bolton and husband, David, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
