Mack Graham, 100, of Hillsboro died Monday, July 28, 2008, in Hillsboro. Mack was born November 13, 1907 in Osage, Texas, where he grew up, the son of Gideon and Susan Penelope Hanna Graham. After graduating from Crawford High School, he worked a time for the railroad before going to 4C Business School in Waco. During WWII , he served his country in the Navy. On August 6, 1933 he married Bentley Hooks and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2008. After marriage, he went to work for American National Insurance Company where he spent his entire career, retiring as a district manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro and Hillsboro Masonic Lodge, having been a mason for 75 years. Also preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Cyril, Earl, and James Graham; and three sisters, Jewel Johnson, Evelyn Anderson, and Ethelyn Hooks. Survivors include his son, Grady Graham and wife, Betty, of Grapevine; daughter, Mary Graham of Temple; sister, Ola Faye Linam of Springdale, AR; three grandsons, Grady Mack Graham, Jr. of Little Elm, Kevin Scott Ross of Houston, and Brian Keith Ross of Temple; four great-grandchildren, Brianna Graham and Michael Graham of Little Elm, Brooklyn Ross of Granbury, and Meredith Norton Ross of Temple; and numerous nieces and nephews.
