Maidene Modrall

Maidene was born January 12, 1931 in El Paso County, Texas to Leo and Jewella MayPageMitchell. She grew up and lived in the El Paso area until moving to Hillsboro in 1988. A graduate of Ysletta High School in El Paso, she worked in many hospitals in El Paso. She was an LVN at Sun Towers Hospital in El Paso for over 25 years. She was previously married to Floyd C. Williams, Sr. In 1971 she married Lewis Modrall. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, Bert Mitchell, Edgar Mitchell, and Brice Mitchell. Survivors include her husband, Lewis Modrall of Hillsboro; six children, Cathy Gilliland of El Paso, Floyd C. Williams, Jr. of Hillsboro, Wayne Williams of New Mexico, Jewella Partridge of Maryland, Leona Bowling of Washington State, and Frank Williams, Sr. of Brandon; two sisters, Val Peterson of Iowa and Ellie Gerwels of New Mexico; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
