Manuel Perez Puente

Manuel Perez Puente, age 75 of Itasca, passed away July 8, 2020 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center-Hillcrest in Waco, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro, with Pastor Fred Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Itasca Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors.

Manuel was born July 11, 1944 in Tampico, Mexico to Francisco Puente and Maria Nava . He was united in marriage to Adela (Lara) Puente in May of 1985. Manuel worked for the City of Dallas for 24 years before retiring in 2007.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Julio Puente and Alcadio Puente; sister, Stella Puente Alcala.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Adela L. Puente; 3 daughters including, Sylmar Mota & husband, Jose Luis and Grace Rodriguez; sister, Juanita Puente Rodriguez; and 10 grandchildren.
