Margaret Eastep

Margaret Ann Eastep, of Whitney, passed away on March 7, 2016, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2016, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 13, at the funeral home.

Margaret was born on June 7, 1942, in Union, Mississippi, to W.T. and Lorene (Leach) Brown.
On March 18, 1961, she married Charles Eastep in Los Angeles, California. They moved from Arlington to Whitney in 2003.

Arranging flowers and hanging pictures, especially the ones of her family were favorite pastimes. She loved her family and grandchildren unconditionally. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Floyd Milton Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Eastep of Whitney; children, Bobby Eastep and wife, Valetta of Grand Prairie and David Eaststep and wife, Michelle of Arlington; three grandchildren, Aaron Eastep and fiancée Betty of Arlington, Courtney Eastep and fiancé T.J., of Grand Prairie, and Quoi Eastep of Arlington; a brother, William Brown of Raleigh, North Carolina and a sister, Nellie Davis of Henderson.
