Margaret Poe

Margaret Ann McEver Poe passed away February 12, 2008 at Homestead Nursing Home in Hillsboro, where she had been a long time resident. She was a lifetime resident of Hillsboro. She was the tenth child born to Brice and Lelah McEver on October 12, 1928. She attended grammar schools at Union Bluff and Revier rural schools, and then went to the Hillsboro public schools. She married Bundy Poe who passed away in 1980 after which she moved to Homestead. She is survived by her stepson James Poe of Hillsboro; two brothers, Royce McEver of Harlingen, Texas and Billy McEver of Oklahoma City; four nephews; and three nieces.
