Margie Hinton

Margie Lou (Reed) Hinton, 77, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away July 5, 2012, at her home in Whitney, TX.

Margie was born on Oct. 16, 1934 in Waco, TX where she attended high school.. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. She taught school for 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her mother, her father and one son, Marty.

Margie is survived by her husband, Billy, and five children, Celeste Straign, Marc Hinton, Denise Ford, Lonnie Hinton and Angelina Potter as well as eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A life celebration is being held at The Arrowhead Resort in Whitney, TX, on Sunday, July 8th, at 11am.
