Margie Marie Trantham, 82, of Hillsboro died July 6,2012 in Hillsboro, Graveside Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday July 9, 2012 at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro with Glen MacDonald of Hillsboro Church of Christ officiating. Viewing will be 9AM-9:PM Sunday July 8, 2012, no set visitation.

Margie was born January 5, 1930 in White Oak. She grew up in East Texas and later moved to the Sweetwater area, where she worked at the local theater and for a local doctor before moving to Hillsboro. She married James Trantham on August 7, 1949 and they were married for forty one years before he preceded her in death on November 20,1990. Margie and her husband James owned and operated the Texas Theater and Hill Drive In Theater for many years. Margie worked at Tucker Lumber for 33 years and was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death, her grandson, Steven James Malone, four brothers, four sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Hay and husband, George of Kerens, one sister Fay Sims of Snyder, granddaughter ; Kristin Jones and husband, Shane, great-grandchildren; Baylee, Kylee and Landry Jones, and several nieces and nephews.
