Marguerite Mckeown

Marguerite McKeown, 84, of Whitney, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, in Fort Worth. No services are scheduled at this time.

Marguerite was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 12, 1929, to Francisco and Theresa (Tocco) Misuraca. She grew up in Michigan and on August 2, 1958, she married Richard J. McKeown in Detroit. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2004. The couple moved to California in 1961, then later to Texas, first settling in Houston in 1967 and later moving to Whitney in 2001. For 15 years they enjoyed traveling the country in their RV. She also enjoyed going fishing with her husband. Marguerite was a homemaker and a member of Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her children, Donald Thomas McKeown and wife, Jeannie, of Fairfax City, VA, Kathy Scerra and husband, Fred, of Bakersfield, CA, and Debra Wall and partner, James Clark, of Joshua; one brother, Domiano Misuraca and wife, Marlene, of Sterling Heights, MI; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
