Maria DeCampos

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Reyes De Campos. She passed away on November 29, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her children and her grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Iglesia de Dios Getsemane in Hillsboro, Texas, with a burial to follow at Itasca Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 Pm, Friday, December 6, 2024, at the church.

Maria Reyes De Campos was born in Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico, on January 16, 1932, to her parents Pedro Guerrero and Maria Epimenia Ortiz.

Maria was married to Pórfirio Campos, and they had eight children; Jesus Campos, Polo Campos, Mayo Campos, Raúl Campos (Deceased), Andrés Campos, Ricardo Campos, Merced Campos, Juan Campos and their only daughter and caregiver María Elizabeth Campos.

María was a wonderful mother who loved to garden and tend to her children. She loved her grandchildren most of all, from the first to the last she took care of each of them and every one of them loved her equally as much. Although her passing brings us great sadness we know that she is without pain and is now looking after us again at all times.
